That is why we attach great importance to the origin and processing of the herbs and all other ingredients we use.

"Dao-Di": High-quality medicinal plants

All our herbs are of Dao Di quality. In China, successful doctors only prescribe this type of herbs, as they are the only ones that can guarantee the optimal effect.
Dao-Di always refers to herbs of ideal origin and quality. This is guaranteed in Germany by renowned suppliers.

This means that our herbs have the highest possible effectiveness because they were grown in the best place for them under controlled specific ecological conditions and finally harvested at the right time (highest concentration of active ingredients). Our supplier knows all herb farmers personally, travels to them several times a year and can therefore always convince himself of the quality of the cultivation directly on site.

Strict testing and certification

The processing, identification and certification of Chinese herbs are also subject to very strict guidelines and quality controls in Germany, as with all pharmacy products. In addition to the identity check (excluding possible confusion of herbs), each batch of a herb is subjected to a test for fungal toxins (aflatoxins), heavy metals, microbial contamination and pesticides by a recognised laboratory. All processes in the manufacture of our products are also subject to high requirements and strict controls. We strictly adhere to the European Cosmetics Regulation and the principles and guidelines of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP). Production is carried out exclusively in Germany using state-of-the-art process technologies and the know-how of experienced experts in the field of cosmetics production.

Other artificial additives are deliberately avoided: We only use ingredients that are good for the skin and do not harm the environment. We do not use microplastics, paraffins, parabens, mineral and silicone oils in our products and do not carry out any animal testing. Likewise, CHINAMED COSMETICS does not use synthetic fragrances and dyes in order to preserve the purity and authenticity of the formula. And because we do not only attach importance to the highest quality and safety, but also think and act in an environmentally conscious manner, we pay attention to the sensible and sustainable use of resources, not least in the packaging of our cosmetics: Because we use the power of nature and TCM herbs for our products, we want to consciously protect them. This has motivated us to use materials that do not harm the environment and climate - including opal glass for the jars, urea for the lids and paper instead of plastic for the packaging.
